Change the hypervisor.Keep the uptime.

We move workloads from physical servers, VMware, OLVM/oVirt and Hyper-V to Proxmox, OpenStack or KVM — disks pre-replicated, cutovers rehearsed, each VM down for minutes, not hours.

What we do

We have moved production VMs from OLVM and VMware to Proxmox for enterprise production platforms — including OpenShift environments, Active Directory controllers and SFTP services — with minutes of downtime per workload. The method is the same at every scale: replicate, validate, rehearse, cut over, keep the source as the rollback.

Licensing changes make this urgent for many VMware customers. We size the target cluster, migrate in waves ordered by dependency, and hand over a documented, monitored environment with backups verified.

How it runs

The engagement, step by step

01

Audit

We inventory what you run — hardware, hypervisors, storage, backups, network — and document the risks.

02

Blueprint

HLD/LLD with architecture, bill of materials, migration plan, budget and timeline, within 48 hours of the audit.

03

Build

Change-controlled implementation with MOPs, rehearsed cutovers and as-built drawings.

04

Operate

Monitoring, AMC or managed operations with monthly reports and quarterly reviews.

What we put in writing

Written into the blueprint before work starts. If a number is not here, ask for it — we put it in writing.

DowntimeMinutes per VM in agreed windows
RollbackSource kept intact until sign-off
ScaleSingle server to hundreds of VMs, migrated in waves

FAQ

Questions we get asked

Why Proxmox instead of staying on VMware?
Lower licence cost, built-in HA, live migration, ZFS/Ceph options and Proxmox Backup Server. For most SME and mid-market estates it is the most cost-effective replacement; we advise honestly where it is not.
Can you migrate Windows servers and domain controllers?
Yes — with driver preparation, time-sync and replication planning. Domain controllers are migrated with the usual AD precautions.
Do you also migrate physical servers?
Yes, P2V with block-level replication or agent-based conversion depending on the OS.
