Free tool · 📝➡️📄 Word to PDF
Word to PDF,without the upload.
Resumes, offer letters, applications. Your .docx is converted to a faithful preview on your device; one click opens “Save as PDF”.
Private by design: the file is processed on your device with open-source JavaScript libraries. Nothing is uploaded, nothing is stored. Conversion uses the open-source mammoth library; complex layouts (text boxes, multi-column, tracked changes) are simplified. Check the preview before saving.
What it does
Open-source, in your browser, no account.
Free, no sign-up, no email gate, no watermark. Your files are processed on your own device and never uploaded — open the browser network tab if you like.
- Preview of the converted document before you save
- Real PDF with selectable text via the browser’s Save as PDF
- Headings, lists, tables, bold/italic, images and links preserved
FAQ
Common questions
Why does it open a print dialog?
That is how the browser produces a true PDF locally. Choose “Save as PDF” as the destination, set margins to default, and save.
.doc (old Word) files?
Only .docx is supported. Open the .doc in Word or LibreOffice, Save As .docx, then convert.
Fonts look different.
Fonts not installed on your device are substituted. For exact fidelity use Word’s own Export to PDF; for a quick, private conversion this is fine.
