FAQ
Common questions
How long should a password be?
For anything important, 16+ random characters or a 5-word passphrase (≈ 64+ bits). Use a password manager so you never have to remember them.
Is a passphrase weaker?
Not if the words are random. "correct-horse-battery-staple" is strong; "my-dog-name-2026" is not.
