Free tool · 🔎 Domain WHOIS / RDAP lookup
Who owns the domain, and when does it expire?
Buying, renewing, transferring or investigating a domain — the registry data in one clean view, with plain-English meaning for every status code.
Data comes from the registries via RDAP (the replacement for WHOIS). Personal registrant details are redacted by law for most TLDs. Some ccTLDs do not publish RDAP yet.

FAQ
Common questions
WHOIS vs RDAP?
RDAP is the structured, JSON successor to WHOIS mandated by ICANN; same data, machine-readable, with privacy redaction applied consistently.
Why is the owner missing?
GDPR and registry policies redact personal data. For a legal matter, use the registrar’s abuse contact shown here.
.in domains?
NIXI publishes RDAP for .in — lookups work. A few ccTLDs still only run legacy WHOIS; we say so instead of guessing.
