Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Argo, Terraform, Ansible:the pipeline from commit to production.

The toolchain is converging: Git hosting with built-in CI, GitOps for deployment, Terraform/Ansible for infrastructure. Jenkins is still everywhere in Indian enterprises; GitHub Actions is where new projects start.

How to read this
  • A minimal credible pipeline: Git → GitHub Actions (test, build image, Trivy scan) → push to registry → Argo CD syncs to k3s → Grafana dashboard.
  • Jenkins skills still get interviews in Indian service companies; GitHub Actions/GitLab CI get them in product companies.
  • Ansible + Terraform together cover almost all infrastructure automation roles.
