FAQ

Common questions

Is this the same as Google PageSpeed Insights?
The Lighthouse scores come straight from Google’s PageSpeed Insights API, so they match what Google reports. On top of that we run our own crawler for the on-page, server and discoverability checks that Lighthouse does not grade.
Why is my mobile performance score much lower than desktop?
Lighthouse simulates a mid-range phone on a slow 4G connection. Heavy images, render-blocking scripts and slow servers hurt far more on that profile. Fix image sizes, defer scripts and cut TTFB first.
What is a good score?
90+ is green. For a business site aim for performance 80+ on mobile, SEO 95+, and every item in the on-page list passing. The Core Web Vitals thresholds that matter for ranking are LCP < 2.5 s, INP < 200 ms, CLS < 0.1.
Do you store the URLs I check?
We keep a short rate-limit counter per IP for ten minutes and nothing else. Reports are generated on the fly and are not saved.
